Aspenwood Ski Getaway

The location is brilliant

We paid $300/night, but if we’d paid a penny more my rating and review would be much worse. There’s tons of space and the fireplace makes it a cozy spot. Location is great. But goodness is the property dated. The bathroom showers are falling apart, the carpet tacks are exposed in the stairs, the pits and pans are so old. Again - for our price, we were “fine.” But it’s not worth more IMO.

Just what you would expect for a ski condo.

I appreciated the size of this condo- with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, it would work well for a large family or a few couples. I also appreciated that this condo was pet-friendly and enjoyed having my sweet dog with me there for my stay. The view of the ski hill in the back was breathtaking. Despite these pluses, there were a few issues with the condo that needed fixing, in my opinion. Oddly placed high windows in the bathrooms and bedrooms could use a simple tension rod and curtains to provide privacy and block out light, the screen door out to the deck wasn't attached to the frame properly and wasn't really usable, the vertical blinds in the living room and downstairs bedroom didn't function properly and constant construction right next door for my entire stay didn't exactly allow for a peaceful visit. I would say if you need a large place to stay in Sun Valley, this place would be okay, but beware that there may be some things in disrepair when you arrive.

Location is great.
