Overview
Find the perfect marriage of modern comfort and woodsy charm at this spacious lodge on 22 acres near the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. Whether your plans involve boating, fishing, or swimming, you'll have easy access to the lake at Bottle Bay, Garfield Bay, and Green Bay, all within six miles. After a day of adventure, come home to your own evergreen grove to barbecue among the trees, picnic on the patio, and soak in the bubbly warmth of the private hot tub.
This lodge is the perfect escape for those seeking space for rest and recreation, with an 18-hole disc golf course right on the grounds. The 22 acres, also known as the Eureka Center, are home to festivals and retreats in the summer, so it's possible that other people may be elsewhere on the expansive property. You'll be an easy drive from small-town Sagle (11 miles) and bustling Sandpoint (16 miles), where you can find every convenience.
As you step inside, shed your gear in the mudroom cubbies and toss any wet, snowy, or dusty clothes in the adjacent laundry room. Greeting you just beyond is a charmingly rustic living space full of natural wood beams, windows framing the woods, and all sorts of little nooks and hideaways inviting you in. Get started on dinner in the beautiful kitchen with stainless steel appliances and a farm sink, and set the window-lined table for dinner.
Just down the hall are the cozy spaces for unwinding, including a den with a piano and a woodstove and a living room where you can play board games and stream movies by the fireplace. When it's time to turn in, choose a book from the shelves in the reading loft and retire to one of three bedrooms. One is on the ground floor and two more - including a lovely primary suite with its own fireplace, balcony, walk-in closet, and bathroom - are upstairs.
Things to Know
This is a rural cabin in the woods. Wildlife may include deer, elk, bald and golden eagles. This is the country and we may seasonally have an occasional yellow jacket, mosquito, stink bug (their ugly but harmless), or a mouse. Please keep the doors closed behind you so they don't intrude.

I felt like Belle in Beauty and The Beast on the library ladder lol. We went up there to get away for the weekend with us 2 adults and our 6 kids. Everyone had something to do, whether it was sledding down the strip of yard down the side, or building fires in the fire pit and fire places. We all enjoyed our time there!
This was a great get a way place - probably a little more out of the way than had expected - but the location was great for lakes - hikes - Sandpoint activities. Cell service is very bad - WiFi is through satellite (so spotty) - but daily soaks in the hot tub made up for any shortcomings. Almost every morning we were able to watch deer or turkeys while having our coffee on the patio.
We had an awesome time, very nice house and really enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you!
What a beautiful home. If you want a getaway do it. Great setting, easy to get to and wonderful property. The hot tub works, which is awesome! The game life was nice to hear and wake up and see. About a half an hr from town but the drive was worth it each way everyday we did it.
Very nice home with lots of character!
Beautiful log home with upgraded fixtures, but still has a rustic cabin feel, hottub, quiet, and saw wild turkeys and deer daily.
