Overview
Boasting what is quite possibly the best location on Schweitzer Mountain, this three-level townhome sits just above the village with fantastic, ski-in/ski-out access to the slopes. Enjoy spectacular views of the mountain, the valley, and Lake Pend Oreille down below, as well as a private hot tub and an in-home sauna to help you unwind from your adventures.
This townhouse is located in a high-end neighborhood of newer homes just above Schweitzer Village, allowing you to ski or walk to the Basin Express Quad Lift each morning and ski home in the afternoons. Leave your gear hanging in the garage as you step inside, where you'll be welcomed by such conveniences as free WiFi and in-home laundry.
The main living room features a pair of sofas that are warmed by a gas fireplace, a flatscreen TV, and amazing views of the surrounding mountain landscape. If you're not making the easy walk into the village at night, you can make yourself at home in the beautiful kitchen amid richly hued wood cabinetry, top-notch stainless steel appliances (including a gas range, a French-door refrigerator, and a wine fridge), and an island with bar seats for three. The sleek dining room table seats eight more, with the adjacent sliding doors leading outside to a balcony overlooking the gorgeous alpine scene.
At night, you can retreat to the hot tub, the sauna, or the second living area - a great place to play a board game or watch movies on another flatscreen TV. When it's time to turn in, there are four bedrooms to choose from. These include two main bedroom suites - one on the upper level with views of the lake, and another on the lower level with enviable privacy and access to the hot tub.

Awesome view. Great hottub and sauna. Great location.
Great ski in-ski out, heated driveway and garage for gear.
Nicely maintained home that is easy walk to ski trails (one can probably ski to the trails during normal snow years). Property has great layout and spaces, with a wonderful view of the lake. Hot tub, sauna, fire pit and boot warmer are all nice amenities. Kitchen is solidly stocked for preparing food. Would definitely return.
Truly an easy ski-in/ski out cabin. The hot tub and sauna were great for the family.
Beautiful property. Be sure to get all things in writing.
The house was very clean, gorgeous view, lots of room for a big group to spread out, convenient location walking distance to ski lift, comfy enough bed. However, could use a lot of maintenance - Blinds broken in both kids rooms, no screen in bunk room windows or bathroom window, no lock on sliding door middle level, poky thing embedded in carpet at base of bed in master bedroom poked my husband’s foot, light bulbs out various places, water filter in fridge expired 3 years ago, electrical breaker to master bedroom area suddenly tripped in the evening and we had to go find the breakers and switch it back on, but we were anxious after that happened. Also if staying in the summer, do note that there is no A/C in the house and it gets hot on a south facing slope. This was noted in the listing, and there are fans supplied in every room, which we appreciated.
