This rental also boasts fabulous views of Schweitzer Mountain and is located on a private road so you'll feel remote while still being relatively close to all the excitement.

This rental offers quick access to the slopes via the free Schweitzer Shuttle, which will pick you up and drop you off right in the village. It is also within close proximity to tasty food at Powder Hound Pizza, and just a short drive down the mountain to all that Sandpoint has to offer.

THINGS TO KNOW

There is a small spiral staircase to get down to the basement which is where all the bedrooms are located. The loft is accessed by a ladder.

There no cable or WiFi at this retreat.

Cell phone service is good and mobile hot spots can be used through guests' phones for internet connection.

This place was very comfortable and the location is convenient. Perfect for a get away with friends. I would definitely stay there again.

We had a fabulous time at this place! There was lots of space for skis, boots and ski gear. It is a short 3 minute drive to the Schweitzer parking lot. The kids also loved that the loft was accessible by a ladder! What fun! We would love to come back again next ski season!

What an absolutely beautiful place to stay! The setting was semi-private, quiet, and incredibly relaxing. The property was thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities we could possibly need, and there was plenty of space for our group of six (2 adults, 2 teens, and 2 children). The kids especially loved the loft area, and we all enjoyed unwinding in the hot tub. Our only (very minor) complaint was the heat—it did get quite warm inside, even with the fans running, but that’s to be expected in the middle of summer. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely return!

Easy access to Schweitzer and to Sandpoint. The kitchen is really well stocked (including a milk frother) but no coffee provided and a twenty minute drive to buy some. The loft provided sleeping for one but was fry your brain hot and the futon was pretty awful. The rest of the bedrooms were fine. Access is via a really tight circular staircase so this rental is a no go for folks with mobility issues. The hot tub is marvelous with amazing views. There was nowhere to put trash and it’s bear country so we had to just leave it inside when we left….. we felt badly about that. Would definitely rent this half of a twin home again.
