Overview
Welcome to the home away from home that will host the getaway of your dreams. Eagles Nest offers guests a great location 10 minutes to town but still feels remote and secluded. The house footprint was well thought out to take advantage of the views and create plenty of room for six people to spread out or come together on the main floor open floor plan. There is a seasonal creek on the property and six acres to explore with a few walking paths.
The private hot tub provides guests with the ultimate relaxation spot after a day of skiing or a day out on the lake and taking in the beauty of surrounding nature. The large deck off of the living room is a great place to relax and enjoy the views - barbecues here are a hit among guests. The basement is set up either as a hangout spot for the kids or a quiet office to get work done. The kitchen and living room is a large open space to congregate during meals and there are two full bathrooms for convenience. There is also internet service and a strong cell signal in the house along with three smart TVs.
The neighborhood has a private beach to enjoy a picnic or utilize the lake in the summertime. In the wintertime, you can enjoy world-class skiing at Schweitzer only 19 miles away. In the summertime, there are endless water activities on the lake such as kayaking and paddleboarding, and hiking and biking all around. You will also enjoy the accessibility of being close to the town of Sandpoint (seven miles away) but secluded enough to enjoy privacy.

The view, the proximity, the guest diary, and owners recommendations binder. Would love to stay their again. Awesome get away. Standpoint is a fairytale.
We love the privacy of this property. Lots of space in the house and no close neighbors. Big, beautiful windows and a full kitchen. I have a four-wheel-drive truck, and that helped, but it wasn't necessary in the off season. I can imagine that it is essential in the winter time, though.
I loved the stars at night and it was for the most part very quiet.
Nothing spectacular.
We enjoyed this home for five days. The surrounding trees made it all feel very private. Sitting in the hot tub at night and being able to see a sky full of stars was wonderful. Would strongly recommend the need for a 4x4 vehicle during snow/winter season.
The location and view was beautiful and the house cutely decorated. But the house comforts such as mattresses and couch were not the most comfortable.
