We had a great Labor Day weekend at the Monarch House on Lake Pend Oreille. The house was great for our large family with lots of space and beds! The kitchen was very well equipped and had a nice little stash of extras like seasonings, etc. that make vacation life easier. We used the gas grill on the patio for several meals. The beds were comfy. Having the in-home washer and dryer at the lake is a lifesaver for reusing towels and drying bathing suits. We enjoyed time on the balcony, using the provided kayaks and life jackets, and the fire pit! This is one of the best vacation rentals we've visited. Thank you for sharing your beautiful lake home with us!

We absolutely loved this house. It feels and lives larger than the pictures convey. High ceilings on both levels add to the spaciousness. Clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. The view and dock are spectacular. My only wish is that we had more time to stay. Hoping to come back again.
