We all loved the house and the property. The little fish and a couple turtles that would "follow" you around were hilarious. I'd venture to say they've been fed by many guest and have come to expect such treatment. The property was well maintained, the house was great and cozy. There is a road adjacent to the property but there is very little traffic. Its in Asheville, but still has a very remote feel.
The surrounding trees.
My husband and I had a conference in Asheville and decided to stay a few extra days when we found this house and we're so glad we did. Its rustic and secluded in the best way. We loved being able to see the pond in every room and the house is so comforting and cozy its hard to leave. We will be back for sure.
What a lovely little cabin in the valley. Im handicap and finding a single story cabin was hard but we found the perfect one with enough space for my walker to maneuver around. There is a handrail in the shower and toilet. We brought fishing poles but on our fishing day it snowed! Watching the snow across the pond was just magical- the main room did get chilly and the heater was not quite able to keep up so bring blankets. The bedrooms did not have this problem. We look forward to booking this cabin again in the summer so we can kayak and swim.
It was perfect!!! Plenty of room for us and the grandkids !!! We will be back again!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
