Whether your plans involve hiking, fishing, or driving the Blue Ridge Parkway, this is a wonderful home base for your adventures in Western North Carolina. This single-story home enjoys a particularly lovely setting in small-town Mills River. Here in town, you'll have easy access to local breweries, restaurants, and shops within a mile or two. When you're ready to get out and explore, you can meet up with the Blue Ridge Parkway at the North Carolina Arboretum (10 miles), make a day of it in downtown Hendersonville (10 miles) or Asheville (19 miles), or treat yourself to some of the nation's best hiking, mountain biking, tubing, and kayaking nearby. Spend a morning here and you'll quickly understand why the homeowner's family has resided on this road for over 200 years. Step out into the spacious backyard, watch the fog blanket the cornfield before quickly dissipating, and set the table on the deck for an alfresco breakfast. In the evenings, you can light the gas grill for summer barbecues, join your kids for games of tag in the fenced yard, and roast marshmallows around the firepit as the sun begins to set. The home's interior is comfortable and inviting, offering a light-filled living room, an adjacent den with a smart TV and Roku, and a well-equipped eat-in kitchen. Sleep soundly in three bedrooms and enjoy the comforts of central air conditioning, a private washer/dryer, and complimentary WiFi. Things to Know -Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. -Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. -All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. -Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. -No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. - -All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.
