Just down the hill, Black Mountain offers local boutiques, highly-rated restaurants, breweries, art galleries, and live entertainment. Black Mountain Golf Club and public tennis courts at Lake Tomahawk are within a few miles from the house while downtown Asheville, roughly 18 miles away, has tons more dining, shopping, entertainment, and landmarks including historic Biltmore House. No trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains is complete without a picnic on the Parkway and day trips to Mt. Mitchell, Lake Lure, and Chimney Rock.     Proximity black mountain was great. Views were incredible. Comfy mattresses, plenty of towels. Two living areas, lots of outdoor seating and the hit tub was clean and has views. A bit tricky to enter and exit, but worth it for the view.

    This was a perfect stay for our group of 8! We had 4 young kids with us. The open floor plan with panoramic views was perfect for hanging out, dinners, games- all while feeling tucked in the woods. Very private location, and super easy to drive into downtown (not even 5 minutes). House was very clean and well-equipped. Beds were comfortable. Perfect bunk room for kids with toys to entertain. Movie theatre was a bonus. Would highly recommend!

    We absolutely loved our stay at this mountain home! The attention to detail in the furnishings was truly impressive and made the space feel so cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked, making it easy to cook all our meals. We also really appreciated the thoughtful selection of books and games available. The location was perfectly quiet and serene – a wonderful escape. Highly recommend!

    We used the hot tub a bunch and especially loved that you can look out at all the lights of homes on the mountain across from this house at night. The views through the living room windows are incredible, and in winter it's probably even clearer because of lack of leaves. Amazing place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee. The house is real close to downtown Black Mountain and to hiking in Montreat, but still feels secluded--perfect balance for our family.
