Siler Cottage

This home has a comfortable living room and the beds were comfortable. It is convenient to the lake and other lake amenities. The porch is homey and nice to sit on The kitchen and the bathroom are functional but very 'rough'. Do not expect much but the bare minimal.

We loved the living room and the porch, and the kitchen area worked well for our needs. The cottage definitely has a few quirky features to be aware of. The back bedroom is an enclosed porch area, and in the summer you’ll want to run the portable unit in the bedroom and use fans to push the cool air into that space. The porch itself is wonderful, we spent a lot of time out there and really enjoyed it. Overall, we were happy with our stay. If you enjoy unique, quirky little cottages with lots of character, this is a place you’ll probably love.

The porch was the highlight of this cottage- delightful. Well decorated and kitchen had all we needed. The cabin floors have quite a tilt, the bathroom is a bit awkward, and the electrical situation is a mess. I’d describe this as a two bedroom with a sleeping porch, but it was a charming little place for our family to stay in spite of the quirks.
