My boys and I visited family in the area and we love staying at the lake. House was perfect for our stay and exceeded all our expectations!

Entertainment: Maybe I have been spoiled from every other home I have ever rented, but I feel like TV or streaming services of some sort should be included when renting a home like this. I mean you even get that in a hotel! It required me to sign into my own streaming accounts, which I did not do because then it would take away streaming from my home where my pet sitter needed access. This is a silly thing to require of a guest. Thank god I brought my own bluetooth speaker. Lighting: there is NO ambient lighting. Again, maybe this is just me, but I want dim lights in the evening. There are no dimmers and no lamps or lights over an oven for ambient lighting in the main space of the home. The first night I was there I tried bringing lamps from the bedroom but they were too dim. I couldn’t watch TV and I couldn’t read because it was so bright and unnerving. The second night, I literally stayed on the front porch under the porch flood lights to read and work, where the lighting was better. I got over the flurry of moths. Kitchen: read the fine print on what’s included in the kitchen. One would at least expect salt and pepper, but there was none. I read the guest book and it stated it did not provide any. I would have rather had salt and pepper than a nice box with dish soap and sponge that only got one use. Early Check In: for anyone used to getting in a hour to two early when renting from other homes….. this home didn’t have any visitors butting up to my arrival, but they denied my request for any early entry. Even an hour earlier would have been nice. I even offered to pay extra if needed. No can do. I have been renting homes for years and am usually offered early entry without asking when it is clear there was no one staying ahead of me. Be aware and ask BEFORE you book. I felt a little salty about it, so I waited until 10am on the dot to check out. Lolz. Positive: nice kitchen, has laundry, pillows were nice. I love live plants, and they have lovely live plants. If you have a dog, this seems like a good place because there is a gate for the porch and the back yard. They even have dog bowls.

Adorable house with easy access to the lake, fully stocked kitchen (and a great grill), beautiful landscaping, and a very sunny porch.

Spacious living area with 2 large bedrooms and a nice kitchen with everything you could need. Keurig, french press, and drip coffee machines for multiple options. Filtered water dispenser inside the fridge. TV's all have Roku's that you can use in guest mode. AC/heat work very nicely. Upstairs bedroom was warmer but had its own window unit that we didnt end up using. Nice front and back porch with BBQ and a grill set. Couldn't figure out the fireplace like many others, but didnt try for very long. Only negative is that the beds were quite firm which wasn't our personal preference, but maybe its good for someone else. Would definitely stay here again.

Great house- was exactly as described. Tons of character. Kitchen had everything you’d need, the gas fireplace was very nice on those cold evenings! This house is a gem at this price point, would definitely rent again.

The fireplace was great once I finally figured out how to turn it on.
