We love this view and have stayed multiple years.
Nice home with updated kitchen and baths - exterior needs work - porches and patios not maintained, driveway crumbling in a key location, steps to road/dock broken and unsafe. Still, our stay was pleasant, we seemed to have everything we needed and we enjoyed the beautiful lake!
This home is located right across from the lake! We used our paddle boards and kayaks everyday and even paddled over to the Crepe place one morning. We also loved the walking paths and the pickleball courts. We used those everyday! The walking paths go all the way around the lake and there are so many beautiful areas of flowers and beautiful landscaping. Many people had pets with them, so it is very dog-friendly! Unfortunately, there was a lot of weed and tree overgrowth blocking the view of the lake, so we had to stand if we wanted to see the lake when we were on the deck. We didn't use any of the cushions on the furniture because it seemed old and mildewy. But there was a good amount of seating for a smaller deck. The deck could use a power wash for sure, but we enjoyed it none-the-less. We loved that both kitchens were new and the bathrooms were all new and felt clean. We were a group of 9 and the kitchen was a great place to gather while we prepared meals. It opens to the living room, so some of us could play games in there while meal prep was going on. There was plenty of seating including the large, beautiful island and we made lots of memories and enjoyed that space very much! There were however, a LOT of sugar ants, which some small baits would take care of. The furniture is definitely older and it didn't seem that housekeeping had used a swiffer under any beds or couches, so the dust was pretty thick. There was also a pair of underwear from a previous guest under one of the beds... The driveway has a broken down patch that is just gravel, so it's a little bit precarious for both drivers and walkers, so the home definitely needs some more updating. All that being said, we LOVED being so close to the lake, but the home definitely needs more updating (furniture and bedspreads) and we wouldn't stay at this home a second time until more updates were done.
Many Ants were found throughout the house. There was a lack of garbage bags and other toiletries for a family of 13. The view would have been beautiful but the lawn wasn’t cared for in months, overgrown bushes and trees blocking the view
Terrific view of the lake.
