Sweeping views and easy access to year-round recreation are yours at this scenic Blue Ridge Mountain perch. Nestled just outside the town of Black Mountain, this 3,200 square-foot home makes a perfect escape for friends or family looking to indulge in the all-season splendor of Western North Carolina. Take in endless views from the private deck while enjoying morning coffee and alfresco meals at the table or relax around the gas fire table with your favorite nightcap for some starlight relaxation. The downstairs game room comes ready to host family fun with an assortment of games and entertainment options including darts, Ping-Pong, Skee-ball, foosball, board games, and a smart TV with a plush recliner and sectional. There's even a bar and dedicated beverage fridge for keeping happy hour libations on-hand. For remote working needs, there's also an office desk and chair. The main living room offers a comfortable sofa, fireplace, and smart TV if you're looking for some more casual downtime. Family mealtimes are made easy in the sparkling full kitchen. There's eat-in seating and the dining table can accommodate everyone for group dinners. As the evening winds down, take a soothing soak in the new hot tub. A bedroom and shared, full bathroom are located downstairs. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms can be found on the main floor, including the primary suite. Two bedrooms share access to a full bathroom.

  • Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
  • This rental is a true Mountain home. The road leading up the mountain to the property provides a true mountain experience. Those not familiar with Western North Carolina mountain roads should prepare to arrive before dark to allow navigating the steep, narrow and windy road.
  • All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
  • All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

    The house was beautiful and a great getaway. You do need to be comfortable with driving up single lane mountain roads. We only went into town once a day so it was perfect for us. Great hiking trails and restaurants within 15-30 minutes.

    This house was perfect for our family of 5 (3 teens) + 2 dogs. It was fully stocked, clean, great views, ample space and plenty of activities for the kids. They enjoyed foosball, ping-pong and darts. A TV in every room was also a nice touch. The location was perfect - Asheville, Black Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Omni, Biltmore all ~ 30 mins drive. After reading the reviews, I was very concerned with the steep road mentioned by most people and knowing that we would arrive after dark. We arrived 8:15PM. It was a steep drive to the house and if we had encountered another car, it would require someone to pull to the side or to reverse. For the 4 days we were there in Jan, we did not encounter a single car on that road. We drove a minivan and it was just fine. We had to plan our days accordingly.. accounting for ~ 15 mins to get down to the main road.

    Everything was perfect. It got very cold so the hot tub was amazing. In the mist the first night then awoke to a gorgeous view. 2nd night we saw 2 Shooting stars! Driveway is a mountain home driveway for sure- but a no problem once you get the hang of it. 2 car garage made loading and unloading a breeze! Great hikes nearby and dinner at our favorite Black mountain restaurant, Que Serà. Highly recommend!

    This is an extremely well appointed home that functioned well for our party of six once we were inside. Access up a single width mountain road to incredibly steep, downhill driveways is treacherous at best.

    Winston's Ridge is a fantastic retreat. The home is comfortable and perfectly appointed. We could WFH with the 2 desks, play in the awesome game room and relax with STUNNING views on the porch and hot tub. The Asheville area has so much to offer -- hikes, waterfalls, apple picking, arboretum, breweries among our favorites. I'd warn future guests that the incline of driveway(s) and the access road are no joke! 4WD is advised. thank you for a wonderful stay.
