Comfortable bedrooms and clean bathrooms. Ideal for a family with pets ! We enjoyed the lovely fireplace and the deck! The mile long gravel road to the house was dusty and bumpy but not bad ! Great location for downtown Black mountain !
We enjoyed our stay immensely. Very clean and well stocked with anything and everything you would need. Such a relaxing time!
Our week spent at Dalton Abbey exceeded our wildest expectations. The house was extremely comfortable and every single detail was thought of and provided. The house was so well appointed, and even though it was cold and windy outside, it was warm and cozy inside. The indoor fireplace is amazing and instantly added six degrees to the indoor temperature. We enjoyed daily walks through the neighborhood and our many hikes in the Black Mountain, Montreat, and Lake Lure areas. We had no problems whatsoever navigating the dirt roads, even though light snow we had during our visit. We're looking forward to returning soon!
This home was so beautiful! The attention to detail by the owners in ensuring the home is well stocked was so impressive! I have stayed in several other properties in different areas over the years and this home has been our favorite!
