I cannot express how much I enjoyed my stay in this home. I had a medical procedure scheduled in Asheville and this space was located close to the Center and Hospital I went through, able to accommodate three adults and a dog comfortably. There were plenty of places within delivery distance for food and groceries during my recovery period from here, while still being in a quiet, serene area. The bed were SO soft with plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels for myself and the other guests, even when I had to extend my stay. The acoustics are really well done, with me being able to leave the door open in the far end room while the other two were in the living room talking at a decent volume without me being disturbed. The water pressure is incredible in the shower with a removable shower head to make the process easier for folks with mobility issues. I can also confirm that our little dog approved very much of the space and enjoyed her time outside exploring! A word of note is that this home is definitely older, but it has the kind of charm and familiarity that we found to be a bonus in our experience. Also, I was able to play on my handheld console online while someone was using streaming services, which was nice as an avid gamer. Definitely coming back!

Absolutely nothing

The house has a convenient layout in that the two bedrooms are far apart, and there is a laundry area where dog bowls and litter box can be placed. The mountain view from the front windows is spectacular. The beds are comfortable and the shower works well. On the downside, the driveway is steep and is covered with unpacked gravel, so it is very difficult to use. We found it necessary to take a run at it at full speed so that the momentum of the vehicle carried it up the hill. Also, some branches had fallen and protruded into the driveway. They scratched the side of my car. I hope the scratches can be buffed out. Really, a driveway that steep should be paved, not graveled. We also didn’t love that the checkout time is 10 AM. Most places the checkout time is 11 AM not 10 AM. It was difficult to get out by 10 o’clock.

We loved staying here! Quiet, private, clean. My son loved having a large yard to run around in.

This home was exactly as described and pictured online. It was a very nice home in a beautiful and relaxing setting. Just be aware that it is rural so it gets very dark there at night!
