Perched across the street from the historic Grove Park Inn, this charming retreat boasts easy access to all that Asheville has to offer. It is also home to spectacular mountain and wilderness views. Don't forget to pack your binoculars, as you may spot wild turkeys, hawks, and even black bears in the distance. You'll appreciate the peace and privacy of being in a quiet neighborhood while still being just a quick drive away from downtown Asheville. Inside your retreat, lounge in the spacious main living area where a soft sofa and large TV await your enjoyment. The adjacent dining table is perfect for board game nights or dining on take-out. The mini-fridge and coffee maker allow you to store beverages or leftovers and enjoy your coffee or tea on the deck. Relaxation is vital during your getaway! Find it when you soak in the private mountain-view hot tub or unwind in the gleaming walk-in shower. Your swimsuits can easily be refreshed in the private washer/dryer, and when you're ready to tuck in for the night, crawl under the soft bedding in the bedroom. There is air conditioning throughout the home so you can tune it to your liking.

  • Please note that access to the rental involves a brick walkway that passes by the main house, followed by a set of wooden steps without a handrail.
  • Streaming services are available with guests' own account(s).
  • Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
  • All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity.
  • Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
  • All properties comes with a starter kit to assist you on your first day before having to go out and purchase additional items. This includes: dish sponge, dish soap, dishwasher packet, laundry packet. Bathrooms will have 2 rolls of toilet paper per bathroom, shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.

    Great location, cute guest house, and clean space. The hot tub doesnt work, the shower runs cold in under 10 minutes, and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for no reason.

    The parking ruined our stay. We had to park two blocks away on a different street. *The hot tub is 'Private' in that no one else can use it but not 'Private' in the sense that no one can see you using it.

    We (3 people) enjoyed staying at this property for a long weekend. The cottage was very clean with gorgeous views and a spacious deck with hot tub. I want to caution potential guests about a couple of things that were not immediately apparent from the listing. First, there is no kitchen sink, and the only available water source is the bathroom sink. Although not a dealbreaker, we did find this to be inconvenient when filling reusable water bottles, washing dishes, trying to make coffee, etc. Second, there is free and ample parking across the street from the cottage. However, the cottage is on a very busy street, and crossing the street after parking was difficult with young children and luggage, and certainly would be a limiting factor for a guest with mobility issues. Overall, a great stay with some cautionary notes.

    This unit has a very nice hot tub, and decent TV service. The total lack of any kitchen amenities like stove, hot plate, sink, dishwasher was unexpected & should be noted before renting. Washing cups, Tupperware, etc. in the bathroom sink should be expected.
