With spectacular mountain views right from a spacious wrap-around deck, this secluded vacation retreat is open and attractive, with all kinds of fun outdoor activities nearby! Spend an afternoon on a hot-weather hike then come back to spread out in the second-level living area with friends and family. You'll love the room's open concept that encompasses the living, dining, and kitchen areas, and the grand stacked-stone wood-burning fireplace will keep the room toasty on chilly nights. You can watch your favorite movies and shows on the flatscreen TV or head over to the full kitchen to prepare your next world-class masterpiece via the stainless steel appliances, counter space, and ample storage capacity. Serve everyone at the handsome dining table with seating for eight while the kids chatter away from the four-person breakfast table or the breakfast bar with seating for two. Afterward, let the dishwasher knock out all the cleanup while you adjourn to the deck to catch up with your guests. When it's time to call it a night, you'll have a king bedroom to take advantage of, plus a lofted sleeping space with a queen bed for extra guests. The private washer and dryer keep everyone looking their best during your stay. Enjoyed the house love the views. Definitely need a four-wheel-drive to get there, but it’s worth it!
Very spacious with all the home amenities Was a great weekend close to all the places we like to explore
Beautiful! However dont make the same mistake i did. You have to get to this home for the first time before DARK. You will need a 4 wheel drive! Dont chance you can make it as i had to go to maggie valley and pay 180.00 a piece for two rooms and wait till day light to go back to this home. I was on a jeep with four wheel drive but in the dark there were no vissiable lights yp there and a chain was across the road about half wsy up the more than a quarter mile pig trail. Bushes will scrape your vehicle as it is very dence wooded drive.
It absolutely is!!!! The breath taking views you wake up to every morning makes it difficult to leave and the evening sunsets are just as great. If you have kids you will need to keep a close eye on them when they are outside as the drop off around the cabin are steep, the drive way up to the cabin is an experience in itself with steep grades and hair pin turns but you will not regret staying here if you make the trip
Beautiful views at the house!! Definitely need an all wheel drive vehicle to safely climb the dirt road to get to this house. House has basic kitchen items only. There were no convenience items (wine opener, coffee filters, salt/pepper, starter log for fireplace, etc) in the house which made it difficult on a short visit. Need to bring everything you will need in order to cook anything here. Beds extremely comfortable but decor is definitely a bit outdated.
