The screened in covered hot tub is a huge plus. Gas stove is a gem too. While the Keurig is nice, a drip coffee pot would be a good add to the kitchen. Bed were comfortable but the furniture is not. The light fixtures and lamp were cool and easy to use. Would definitely stay here again.
Loved the house and location, the perfect spot for couples to connect. The side porch was a great place for breakfast and hearing the birds and creek sounds of the morning. Great atmosphere, loved the canopy of trees that surround the house and provide shade. Downstairs is paradise, the living area, bathroom and bed all very accommodating for couples to reconnect and be together. Looking forward to our next visit in the fall.
This is the type of place you bring a lot of food and whatever you enjoy doing, and stay inside for several days. There is a lot to like about the place and we would return. Comfortable beds, nice hot tub, jacuzzi downstairs, grill, appliances and about anything you could need. As I read on a previous review, when the upstairs shower is used, there is a significant leak into the downstairs BR. Power went out at 1:30am and a breaker had to be reset. Fireplaces are a headache to try and use. When these issues were reported, a maintenance tech came out within an hour. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
When you first look at the home it's beautiful, it looks so neat.... When you get there it becomes a little of a disappointment, but it wasn't horrible for the 2 nights we were there, just not what I was expecting. The spiral staircase is not easy to get down. Overall, not the best place I've been to but not the worst.
The screened in porch was nice
