The house, originally built in 1906, is remodeled with a modern kitchen, gas fireplace, and all the comforts of home. You will love sitting on the front porch and taking in the sights and sounds of the town. Head out to the back deck and watch the sun fall behind the mountains in the evening. As night falls, retire upstairs to one of the comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms. Since the house is right in town, guests can walk to all the shops, restaurants, the train station, and the river rafting facility. Just a short drive to other nearby towns to explore the local culture. Miles of trails are available close by for hiking and exploring the surrounding wilderness. Things to Know Outdoor steps lead down from parking area to the home. Limited cell service and GPS. This property is managed by VueStay Vacations.

Still cold at night, warm at day. This house stays warm with a Gas fireplace. Bedrooms were chilly in the morning . ( we didn't want to leave the fireplace going overnite) .The steps were old creaky steps that are very steep...not good for older folks who have problems navigating stairs. BUT the location was perfect. Washer and dryer came in handy for us. I love this little town. We expected an old farm house and this was exactly that. Very clean , very comfortable, parking was a bit hairy untill we figured it out and the directions were spot on and very navigatable. Thank you! Do print the instructions on how to find the driveway. ! We plan on coming back next year!.

We had a blast and this house is right in downtown. We loved to sit on the front porch and watch the people and cars. The house is older and needs a few improvements but very cute. We would stay again.

Loved that it was down the road to Bryson city. We went for the polar express but wanted to stay in the small downtown of dillsboro. It’s a nice little town and the house is literally right there in town!
