We rented the Bungalow for a wedding weekend: the bride and her bridesmaids stayed there Friday night, got dressed there for the wedding (hair and makeup, etc), Saturday, then the bride and groom stayed Saturday night. It was a wonderful set up! Great house: really lovely with space for everyone to spread out -- gorgeous large bedroom upstairs -- with lots of light and space for seating, etc. Nice, large kitchen and table. Loved the front porch and beautiful setting. We have a house nearby but sometimes have more guests than we can accommodate; we're glad to now have this on our list for overflow -- a perfect spot!
Not too far from Franklin, a lovely drive took to you to this home. It was very clean and organized. The beds were comfy and the front porch swing was enjoyable. The owner did not require you to all but clean it yourself before checkout! This will definitely be on our list to stay again.
Driving directions to property were incorrect. That needs to be straightened out for the next guest.
Beautiful cabin in wonderful location. Very clean and had everything we needed. Great hike to see waterfalls and Williams pulpit on Bartram trail that was very close to the cabin.
We loved staying again at Bluebeary Bungalow. The recent updates were noticeable and much appreciated - new king-size bed in the primary bedroom, updated AC, new chairs in the kitchen and new outdoor chairs around the fire pit. The home is clean and well-cared for and includes games, puzzles, internet access with fast Wifi, and DirectTV. We love coming here with the family, which now includes grandkids - and they love it too. Lots of room for them to play and lots for them to do. This year we explored some new waterfalls in the area - our new favorite is Silver Run Falls, where we all went swimming. And some of us tried out some new trails, including Bartram Trail - Wallace Branch to William's Pulpit, which begins right in Franklin. It's 4 miles total in and back with an 1100' elevation gain, so a good workout even for those in good shape. The great view from William's Pulpit makes it worth the effort. Franklin is such a nice small town. This year they were celebrating 80s weekend which was a lot of fun. We can't wait to go back again!
Having grown up in Franklin, I really enjoyed this house. It was clean, plenty of towels, good beds, etc. I really enjoyed the front porch. The woods are beautiful. I would not advise driving up the driveway with ice without proper gear. If you get really hot in your sleep, the upstairs bedroom runs hot, but the two fans in the house help so much. The cleaning when you leave is also easy.
