Home was phenomenal. 5 star worthy. Very nice, spacious, clean, and well-appointed. My issue was with Vacasa. Didn’t allow for early check-in when the house was vacant for 4 days prior and the day of our trip. Didn’t allow for a one hour delayed check out with 2 days notice once we knew the weather was bad and a booked fishing trip was moved from Saturday to Sunday morning. Lastly, I received a text that our booking was cancelled the day of the trip, while driving up there. After several text messages without response, I called and finally got someone. I was told that was misinformation and shouldn’t have been sent to me.

We visited Tuckaway Retreat for my daughters graduation at WCU. We had family members come from several different states. This house was perfect for families. It had plenty of room to sleep, to hang out and to relax on the porch. It was very peaceful and everyone had a great time.

Home is large and spacious with plenty of room for everyone. It is nicely decorated and has everything you need. The porch looks over the river and we enjoyed some excellent trout fishing. We love this home and hope to return again.
