Great house and location if you are looking for some R&R. Great views, hot tub, grill had gas. Definitely suggest 4WD and not too wide of a vehicle as road leading to home is very narrow. Cable and dishwasher didn’t work, but otherwise no complaints.
This was one of the best places we’ve stayed. We loved our time here and I highly recommend.
The home was very spacious and accommodating; however the cleanliness of the home was not sufficient. The furniture is a bit outdated too.
Tranquility is exactly what this home provides. Great place to escape! Great views and very quiet! Hope to return.
Our stay here was nice. You will definitely need all wheel drive to make it up to the cabin!!! Like every cabin, you’re gonna have your pros and cons. The hot tub, the heating fan in the bathroom, the deck, the fall scenery were all great perks, and this was a very quiet location perfect for a weekend getaway. Some things we’ve noticed that can be approved upon are, the double doors leading out to the patio did not lock or properly shut, the grill hadn’t been used in a very long time and would not work, the sewage smell that lingered every time we use the washing machine, and the fire pit was built on a incline where it made it difficult to get up to it and to comfortably sit . One thing I would recommend if you were planning to bring a pet is to bring your own crate. The crates that were supplied were bent and damaged. A few of the other amenities were also broken such as the ping-pong table, the toaster oven, and the coffee pot.
The pictures in the ad were of a newer home I'm imagining it was when it was newer. But livable. The road was something else. We drove our newer GMC 3500 Denali up to the top of the mountain were the house was. The road was very narrow and over grown with shrubs causing several scratches on the truck. Definitely needed 4x4 in and out of the road. It had rained on a day when we wanted to leave the the house to go to town to get supplies. The road was a good bit washed out with ruts in it. A little scary. Saw 1 bird and a squirrel. NO NOISE AT ALL AND THAT WAS A BIT FREAKIE. NO BIRD SOUNDS OR ANIMALS BUT A FEW CRICKETS AT NITE. IT was really Erie. The hot tub was a winner. The porch was nice and gated except for one entrance that you had to find something to contain your dogs in from going off the porch. We left 3 days early because it just wasn't what we expected. If you want quiet and seclusion this is for you. We won't be back.
