Rock and relax Above the River on this special home’s spacious wrap-around porch (over 800 square feet of covered space). Situated on the bank of the Tuckasegee River, you can allow the sound of the rushing river waters to soothe you as you kick back in this unique get-away. Complete with two primary suites, modern furnishings, a gas fireplace and outdoor amenities (fire pit, picnic table, propane grill, etc.), this house has everything you’ll need to craft a perfect vacation. This home is an ideal base to visit attractions such as Maggie Valley, Cherokee casino, Gatlinburg & the Nantahala Outdoor Center. Shopping and dining are available in the unique towns of Sylva, Dillsboro, and Waynesville. Take a scenic drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway or take a ride on the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad. Step out your door to go fishing, kayaking, floating down the river. Things to know: Gas log fireplace is only available from October - March. Limited cell service and GPS.

When the final charges were disclosed, they added a $90.00 fee for the owner. This was in addition to the owner rental, cleaning, tax and Vascasa fee. Too late to change all of our plans with fishing guides booked and other reservations so we paid it. Will not use Vacasa again!!.

I loved how the house was located in proximity to the area I was visiting. It was away from town and traffic, but not too far that we could not drive in if we needed anything. If was a classic relaxing weekend on the river. Will definitely rent again.
