Perfect for bird-watchers and nature lovers alike, this private hideaway takes full advantage of its rustic setting with features including a large yard with pea-gravel walking paths, a wood-burning firepit, and a wraparound screened porch where you can relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the creek, along with visits from passing wildlife. The home is situated within easy reach of great hiking trails, fishing opportunities, gem mines, and beautiful waterfalls like Cullasaja Falls. Charming, downtown Franklin is only 11 miles away. You'll be able to enjoy all-day comfort on the spacious screened porch, with features including seating areas, an outdoor living area, and a dining table. Stretch your legs with a stroll around the property and stop to linger awhile under the gazebo. A separate porch area offers a quiet spot to sit beside the creek and also comes equipped with an outdoor fridge for cold drink storage. Evenings can be spent around the backyard firepit or in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the living room. An adorable retro-style fridge, a farmhouse sink, gorgeous wood counters, and an updated stove/oven are equipped for easy home cooking. A single-serve Keurig coffee maker is provided for morning brew convenience. The living room is well-furnished for family gatherings while the separate den provides a quiet spot for remote working or reading. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by our good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Streaming services are available with guests’ own account(s).

The owners have done a wonderful job developing and decorating this cabin. We love it, and will stay again. I just wish I had known a few things beforehand, such as: BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD BRING YOUR OWN ICE BRING YOUR OWN KEURIG CUPS. Other than that, great stay!

This is a very well-built log cabin with many nice touches, especially the comfortable screened porch with TV, heaters, decorative lights, etc. The bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is well-equipped, with extras such as stand mixer, instapot, etc. but no dishwasher or disposal. The cabin is not secluded, or very private, but the setting on the creek is pleasant. (Listings should show or state the proximity of neighbors, but most listings hide that info.) There are several security cameras, including two viewing the outdoor firepit/bar/grill area, not mentioned in the listing or descriptions shown after booking. We were told on our second day that the fireplace could not be used, of course after we hauled firewood there. That would have been nice to have on the full day of rain and snow, but the whole-house generator saved us that day when the power was out for twelve hours. Overall, a very nice place -- I would rate it higher if I knew what I was getting before booking.

Wake Robin is beautifully decorated and provides amazing indoor and outdoor space to enjoy the beautiful setting. Its proximity to several towns makes it a perfect spot for exploring a variety of options.

Our second stay at this property was top notch yet again! This cozy cottage has absolutely everything you could need. And even with the cooler weather, we could comfortably sit out on the fabulous porches with the heaters. That porch is my happy place! We brought wood this time and took advantage of both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fire pit. The kids even enjoyed exploring the creek. Can’t say enough good things about this property!

Everything is clean and is very nicely set up. Babbling creek , fireplace, mountain view set the scene. We were lucky to be at the cabin during the full moon phase and the view was great.
