Wiscasset Woodland Haven

We only stayed a few days because we wanted to familiarize ourselves with the area before the vacation season kicks into high gear. Honestly, we cannot wait to go back. The enjoyment of being away from home yet staying in a property that feels like home is a difficult feeling to attain. Wiscasset Woodland Haven completely offers that to you. The home is spotless with beautiful antiques from the rugs to the lighting, but it is not at all stuffy or contrived. The artwork, books, and games will keep you occupied for hours and leave you wanting more. You can feel the love that went into furnishing the home as each room flows beautifully. The grounds are wonderful with just enough open space to clear your mind without having to trek too far. If you have business in the area, or simply are looking to treat yourself, don't hesitate with this booking.

This house was wonderful. Very cozy and a well equipped kitchen for cooking. Lots of movies, games, books and CDs for entertainment! Very close to downtown Wiscassett and Damiscotta which has lots of cute restaurants and places to shop and explore. We would definitely stay here again!

Great house for exploring a beautiful part of Maine. Comfortable mattresses, spacious, lovely house. Spacious enough with common area to have meals together and play games. Luggage racks in bedrooms are a nice touch, makes unpacking easier, especially for older folks. First floor bedroom is nice for folks with mobility issues. We spent 3 nights near Acadia and then trekked down here for 3 nights and explored Damarascotta, Bath, went on a great boat tour at Maine Maritime Museum, and ate a million lobster rolls, oysters and blueberries. Lovely trip!

I really enjoyed my stay here, really nice furniture, terrific kitchen, wonderful linens, great location--quiet, beautiful. Loved that it had two bathrooms and essentially two master bedrooms. the restaurants in town are fun, great food ! shops are sweet and the nearby botanical gardens are exquisite. Really enjoyed, hope to go again next year!

This house is adorable.

We loved staying here! The house had a great layout, a perfect location, and a wonderful, well stocked kitchen. We have been using VRBO for many years and your home has one my favorites. Highly recommend!
