This was the perfect place for a family winter getaway. The wood stove was cozy, the furnishings were comfortable and the area was conveniently located near Camden. We'll be back!
A lot has changed since my last stay here, but it’s still great. We never got into the rec center, but got lots of outdoor exercise in the Camden Hills and Sears Island. Love the area and that our fur baby is welcome.
unlike previous years, they no longer have the clubhouse open in the winter which includes the game room, workout facility and laundry facility. they should charge much less in winter if these amenities are closed. Also, some of the trails are in need of repair.
The cabin was great. The heat was cozy, unit was clean, loved the layout, loved having 2 full baths. The hiking trail system was fabulous. We got snow and the grounds crew shoveled driveway and walkway early. My only minor grievance is I wish the paper that is at the cabin that says to bring your own stuff had been shared prior to arriving. The unit basics are very limited and while we stopped at the grocery store on the way, I wish I would have known we need dish soap, spray cleaner, salt and pepper, coffee filters. The only “cleaner” on soap was pump hand soap. Didn’t change the wonderful trip experience but would have been helpful to know. Definitely going back!
Beautiful campus, very peaceful and quiet. We loved our stay, will be back for longer next time
