This house is fabulous in a great neighborhood and location. We could not have enjoyed our stay any more and we will back to this same house in the summer. It was the best. House and property management were both impressive. Would highly recommend!

The Edgecomb River House does have beautiful views of the Sheepscot River -- the sunsets being the most wonderful of all. But the house itself is quite remarkable -- a cut above. Very interesting architecture, high-end appliances and fixtures, and decorating clearly done by a professional. In addition, the property is landscaped beautifully with a tiered back yard that progresses down to the river's edge. The street is only a few miles long and then dead ends, so very little traffic. This diminishes what might be seen as an issue -- that the house is quite close to the road. Noise was not a problem. Wiscasett and Darmariscotta are close by with shops, galleries, and, just north of Darmariscotta, a CVS and Hannaford grocery store. Truly relaxing and a lovely environment inside and out! We rented again for 2026!

An absolute top accommodation. Three bedrooms with large beds and plenty of space. This space is given throughout the house. And the house also kept everything you need prepared in the kitchen area. It is very stylishly furnished and extremely cozy. If you look out the window, you can see the in-house pier. It is very relaxing. Since the weather was not the best, we could not enjoy the possibilities outside. But we felt very comfortable and if we had spent more time in this region, we would have asked for an extension. Thank you very much for everything... everything was very nice and the contact was also very uncomplicated.

We loved everything about this home! Comfortable and clean home with all the amenities needed during our stay in Maine. The sunset views on the river were amazing. We enjoyed meals from the well appointed kitchen and had a wonderful time with the collection of board games.
