The living room dining room & kitchen provided a large living space for all of us to gather. The bedrooms were perfect for 6 adults and 1 child. The bathrooms were new and very accessible. The furniture was lovely and the view of the river was beautiful.
What a great spot for our family of five adults and a four year old! Great older Maine home lovingly maintained and well equipped. Beds in good shape, a big comfortable dining and living area, and all the dishes, pots and pans we needed. Great river view worked when it was sunny and when a large thunderstorm blew through. Would definitely stay here again!
Great location far enough from downtown Bath to be peaceful, but close enough to be only minutes from shops & restaurants. House was well equipped and clean.
We were extremely disappointed with our stay. One of the beds sagged so deeply in the center it was impossible to sleep on — it felt like sinking into a pit. My wife and I desperately needed rest, but instead we spent three sleepless nights, growing more drained each day. What truly stung was the lack of care. We reached out to customer service the very first night, hopeful they would fix the issue or at least follow up. But no one ever called, no one texted, and no one checked in, not even after we checked out. For a stay costing over $500 per night, this experience dropped from what might have been a two-star to a one-star review (honestly, it would be zero stars if that were possible). We expected far better service and quality for the price we paid.
The house has a nice view of the River and a nice porch to sit on. The house was exceptionally clean when we arrived. Definitely has an older cottage feel. Nice place to stay for family time and enjoying the cute town.
This house is charming and cute. Very close to downtown Bath and has beautiful views of the river. I'd highly recommend the owner update the furniture and restock the kitchen with better utensils. I'd also love to see plastic-free sponges and earth friendly products provided.
