The location was perfect. Safe, clean and welcoming. A Only negatives were the sleeping pillows were hard and very uncomfortable. No regular kitchen broom. No counter/stovetop cleaning product available, only one laundry detergent packet available. Other than those few negatives, everything else was excellent.

We had a fantastic stay in Boothbay Harbor! The rental was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well stocked with everything we needed. The location was perfect, just minutes from the harbor, shops, and great restaurants, but still quiet enough to relax and enjoy the Maine woods.

We have been returning to the Hidden Gem for the last 4 summers and find the home pleasant, clean and comfortable. We are an older couple who do not use the local water access, too steep of a walk for us, but find access to local beaches and restaurants a treat. Only one day of rain where we enjoyed the comforts of the home to read, talk, eat and watch deer in the back yard. We love the Booth Bay area and enjoy returning to this home for a week every year.
