Great place in a very nice property in the woods. Lots of space!
We stayed here for 2 nights and it was quite lovely. The place was quiet and yes, you can hear people upstairs moving, but it wasn’t disruptive, just light walking. The front door locks and unlocks by lifting the door handle first. There is no hair dryer provided, should you need one. In the early evening we were fortunate to see a family of deer in the backyard and several others in the neighborhood. In the morning we enjoyed coffee sitting outside, listening to the birds and woodland creatures. This was a nice place to stay to go explore Acadia National Park and surrounding areas.
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms was comfortable and clean. The perfect getaway.
This home was nestled in a forest of enormous trees and had a fire pit area that was beautifully serene. The covered porch was great to have morning coffee on and the swing in the yard was a nice touch. The kitchen and living area were very spacious, as was the bedroom and bathroom. I highly recommend this home if you’re staying in Ellsworth as it is charming and close to everything.
