I liked that it was an older house with updated kitchen and bathrooms. It was really nice to wake up and see a pretty sunrise from my bed. It was also conveniently located so I could walk to relatives, Red's Eats or Sprague's. We want to stay there next year.
Hello, We had a lovely time staying in our Wiscasset rental this weekend. I wanted to share some feedback. 1. I couldn't find checkout instructions on the VRBO app or the Happy Stays app, beyond the checkout time. So, I'm not sure we did everything we were supposed to at checkout. I think there was more information available on the VRBO app, but it has since become unavailable. 2. The parking situation was fine, but unclear. The rental instructions had said that there was room for two cars in the driveway, but when we returned from an outing, the apartment tenant was parked in the middle of the driveway. So, I'm not clear that we should have parked there in the first place. We parked in the public lot, which was fine, but a bit of a pain for unloading all of our stuff at the end of the weekend. I'm sorry if we're annoyed the tenant! The house was very lovely, clean, and spacious. We had everything we needed and we are going to recommend the house to some family looking for a place to stay. Thank you, Abby
It’s a beautiful home in a very convenient location to the center of town. The owners stay in the separate but attached part of the home during the stay. Not sure if that was clearly translated during booking. Fantastic home regardless and it felt very private during the stay
loved the flow and comfort of the house and the decks and loved just stepping outside and being in town while enjoying the water views.
9 family members together for a fantastic weekend. House was well appointed, clean, comfortable, great view and walk to town and Reds. Parking was plenty for four cars. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well equipped for a family dinner. River view and peaceful setting soothed the soul! Highly recommend!
