Rating
We chose this place because of its proximity to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor, and the location did not disappoint. It was a short drive down the road to both which was a big plus. And it was pretty spacious, so if you have a big group the space would definitely accommodate everyone. I would just caution renters to read the reviews carefully. The place is definitely in need of a refresh. You could see after years of use many things were falling apart. The first bedroom had an AC unit but no suitable outlet, so it was quite warm in there during our stay in August. The carpets were stained and pretty gross, to a point where they should really be replaced. The grill was unusable because the handle was missing and the top was dented, almost like someone dropped something off the balcony onto it. The beds and couches were like the ones you’d find in a dorm room and were very cheesy and uncomfortable. It could also use a deep clean, there were cobwebs in every corner of the room. The space and location made it livable, but this place is really in need of a remodel. I think if a few updates were made it could make this place much more comfortable.
We took a mother/daughter trip to area for a long weekend. The townhouse was perfectly located to Bar Harbor and surrounding towns. The host was quick to communicate with any questions. We had a wonderful stay!
I loved the location of this place and it had so much room. We really enjoyed our stay.
