Overview
Rich with rustic charm and modern comfort, this delightful cabin offers a prime slice of lakefront, Maine living. Sitting on a small hilltop near the shore, this two-bedroom-plus-loft cabin is surrounded by naturally growing birch, spruce and cedar trees. Large boulders, left by the receding glaciers, can be found scattered around the common-area grounds. A wooded walking path winds down from the cabin to the shore of Prong Lake.
From sun-up to sun-down, the expansive, private deck is a great place to take in the property's natural beauty. Fire up the gas grill for a backwoods barbecue or whip up homestyle meals in the fully-equipped kitchen. In the evening, spread out on the living room sofa for game nights and movies on the flatscreen TV or head down out to the wood-burning firepit for fireside gathering under the stars.

Prong Mountain cabin was as awesome as Prong Pond! Been paddling a few times on that pond and finally rented a place there. Directions were spot on. Place itself exceeded expectations. Well-stocked kitchen utensils and pans. Comfortable beds, plenty of windows, great view from the dock with a couple adirondack chairs to enjoy the scenery. Enjoyed the kayak (and, yes, plenty of PFD's). All-around, very happy and would return again.
Has everything you need! Very comfortable, clean, and set on a great property with the pond just down the hill
The cabin was beautiful with comforts including TV and WiFi. It was clean and very well stocked. Supplied canoe and kayak enabled us to enjoy the serenity and nature on Prong Pond. We highly recommend this property.
The picture of this cabin does not do it justice. Everything is new. It is on the water. It is well equipped with cooking utensils, boats, life jackets, etc There is good attention paid to details. It was easy to find. The waterfront location was perfect. It was close too, but away from the craziness of Moosehead Lake. We would definitely stay here again.
Availability of kayak & canoe by the dock. Pond was so peaceful and quiet. No bugs even when sitting on the back deck. Everything needed was well stocked inside. So many amenities that were a pleasant surprise, shampoo & cream rinse in shower, extra blankets on couch, complete stocked kitchen with silverware, sharp knives, pots & pans, dishes. Even though we only stayed 2 days & it rained one of them we were quite comfortable & had plenty of things to as we drove around the area. It was beautiful! Only thing that would have made it better was: getting to see a moose.
Not far from many things with privacy from all. Very comfortable stay.
