Experience ultimate relaxation in the six-person barrel sauna, featuring a window with views of the forest and surroundings. The home features incredible custom woodwork, a wall of windows with serene views, an air-conditioning system in the bedroom.

Explore the wooded natural areas around the home. Or you're just an 8-minute drive to Franklin and 20 minutes to Ellsworth. For an amazing day trip, make a visit to Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor. Detailed with vaulted ceilings and a wall of windows, the welcoming living area is a prime spot to gather for movie nights. The immaculate kitchen is equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and a two-person kitchen island.

The home sleeps six guests between two bedrooms, a queen sofa bed in the living area, and a full-size bed in the loft. Please note that the loft is open to the living area below. The primary suite has a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Unwind on the attached screened patio and forest-view balcony. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen bed, while an adjacent bathroom has a tub/shower combination.

Our stay was mostly amazing, minus the issues with the grill. Although the cylinder was half full, the grill stopped working 20 mins into use. Even after following directions as written on the grill side, it would ignite and go out again. It definitely needs to be cleaned properly to get rid of all the buildup and grease underneath. That was disappointing since we had a BBQ meal planned and had to stop in between. I love the clear driving directions but we would have appreciated some sort of lighting or at least radium stickers to show the pathway up the hill to the cabin, especially for when returning after sunset so that we know which way to drive. Otherwise, stay was very comfortable, clean and well supplied.

After several insanely busy months, we booked the Lazy Lumberjack Cabin for a quiet Thanksgiving. Everything was beyond our expectations. The house was welcoming, the property was gorgeous, and everything was as described. Our family of five had plenty of space, and we really enjoyed the surprise of the gingerbread house kit and Thanksgiving sides. The hosts were responsive and we look forward to booking again soon!

This is a beautiful place and location, if you have a small car good luck getting up the driveway. Hopefully they fix the upstairs leak before they rent it out. I was told it's an ongoing problem but didn't tell me until I sent them a message. It would have been nice to know before hand

This place was a gem - far enough away from people for a restful getaway but close enough to Acadia to make it convenient to get to and from the park. Loved the Sauna and heated floor! We are already looking at renting there again!
