Rating
The duplex unit worked well with our 4 generation diverse family. Some members were able to use one side while others were using the other. Yet the main unit was big enough for all 10 occupants to eat main meals together and share movie and board game nights together.
Great location no matter what you are doing in the Boothbay Region. We rented both sides and had ample room for 10 along with two bathrooms and kitchens. Bring your own toilet paper and paper towels. Also, if you plan to cook there bring baking dishes and sheets. There are pots and pans.
Odor is strong and smells like a combination of mold and pet odor. AC is a floor unit in living room so doors have to be open and it’s a little noisy. It does cool the place. There is exposed plumbing in the bathroom. Carpet is dirty. Bed was okay but sheets were directly on bed no mattress pad or protection. Patio was unusable as chairs were covered in bird poop. I won’t even comment on the furnishings. I would not stay again. I have never written a review but felt others needed to know. Seriously overpriced!
No fans
Tiny coffee cups (were they for tea?)
Odd furniture placement (dressers in living room and bathroom)
Not stocked with anything
Dan’s Auto wakes us up with loud music at 7am
4 towels to last 3 people a week without a washer/dryer??? Nope (towels don’t dry in the humidity)
