Waterfront Oasis

Beautiful home with gorgeous views. Great location close to Bar Harbor and Ellsworth. Sincerely appreciated how well stocked the house was and the consideration for the guests needs. We all loved the quality of the hand soap, bath gel and hair products. The only challenge was the combination lock to get into the home. Thank goodness a neighbor with a key checked in to see if we needed help when he saw us outside the door trying to enter when we arrived.

Seven adults all enjoyed the stay. The rooms were nice sized. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cookware for in house meals. The porch, gazebo, and fire pit are all nice for taking in the bayside atmosphere.

This is a great home and worked well for our family of six! There’s plenty of room for everyone and the outdoor area is amazing. I like that it was away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bar Harbor. I definitely would use this home again.

This house was absolutely wonderful. It was about half an hour from Acadia NP and blissfully peaceful. The rooms were great for our family of six representing three generations. The best thing about this house was the bay in front! We rented kayaks to be delivered to the house and had a wonderful time boating out front with the seals. The house is also well stocked with basic cooking items (spices, pots, etc) which was a nice bonus. We also loved the firepit & gazebo for outdoor time! PLEASE BE CAREFUL on the rocks by the water. Our daughter slipped and broke her arm within fifteen minutes of our arrival. Obviously not the fault of the property but just BE AWARE that even the rocks that look “dry” are perilous! Absolutely fantastic property for our Acadia adventures.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We were 2 couples with our aging mother. The property worked extremely well for our needs. We enjoyed many home cooked meals and appreciated the kitchen amenities. It was the perfect base for daily trips out to the local sights such as Acadia national park, Bar Harbor, Acadia scenic flights, C-Rays lobster pound, scenic/wildlife boat tours, Acadia carriage tour. There are restaurants, grocery stores and many other within 15 minutes. We loved making dinner then watching the sunset followed by the fire pit at night - plenty of places to buy wood in advance!
