Ridge View Cottage

Lakefront cottage, terrific view, very comfortable and cozy.

Beautiful lake cabin with all the amenities, especially if you love cooking and some peace and quiet by the lake.

The house is very nice and well equipped. We took the kayaks and spent a whole day on lake Sebec. It was great!

The view was beautiful and the house was well equipped. The screens need attention along with a few other minor things. Very fun space. We would definitely rent again.

My family and I stayed here for a few nights as we celebrated the life of two great people who unexpectedly passed away. The house provided everything we needed for a family of 4 (2 Adults, 2 Teens). The location to the nearest "town" was about 20 min so it was just far enough to be quiet but close enough to get groceries. The overall house was well appointed with all the amenities you need for time away. The kitchen was well stocked with items, the dining room table provided seating for 6, the bedding/beds didn't disappoint, and having a washer/dryer helped. The door lock with the special access code was a bit tricky but became easier as you got used to the tones and handle. The access to the lake was simple for anyone who doesn't have mobile issues as there is a decline/incline to and from the lake. There were two kayaks available though we didn't have time to use them (the lifejackets were provided too). It was very peaceful at night just sitting toward the lake and taking it all in. Especially from the deck/porch. Overall, I would highly recommend this property who is looking for great amenities, location, and access to the lake.

Our family stayed during the 2024 Eclipse, and we enjoyed an amazing experience in a beautiful location! Pros: excellent location right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen with relatively sharp knives (unusual for a rental!), great communication with the local agent, easy check-in and check-out. It was actually a bigger space than it looked like in the photos online. Cons: The plumbing is a little funky - the sink and downstairs toilet gurgles when you flush the upstairs toilet. The downstairs toilet was not flushing properly so we didn't use it much. I told the agent it wasn't an urgent issue and we didn't stay long enough to need a fix. There was an RO system for drinking water but it was not turned on (and you can tell it hadn't been turned on in awhile). The information binder was buried in the cabinet and when we found it halfway through our stay it said not to drink the well water - but oh well, we already were! There were some conflicting check-out instructions, like whether or not to strip the beds. The cleaners did a great job cleaning after the previous renters, but you could tell the place could use a real deep cleaning (for example, the heater vents were pretty filthy and would blow dust out when the heat kicked on). Overall these were somewhat minor annoyances for us, so we were still satisfied with the overall experience. I would still recommend this as a comfortable, lakeside cabin to enjoy a family vacation!
