If you head southeast, you'll reach the most popular parts of Acadia National Park in no time, with the Hulls Cove Visitor Center only seven miles east. And if you head south, you can explore the less traveled quiet side of Mount Desert Island, with the scenic Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse 15 miles south.
