Ocean Point Cottage

Great location for biking & kayaking, and awesome sunsets! Cottage is always very clean, and the kitchen is well equipped. Our third year we have stayed at Ocean Point Cottage, and we plan to stay again in 2027.

The Ocean Point Cottage is a great little getaway. It has all the comforts of home and access to the water front across the street. The view is wonderful. You can sit on the chairs near the water and catch a glimpse of the seals in the ocean. Sunsets are spectacular and a sunrise is a short bike ride to Ocean Point. We brought our kayaks and paddled around the cove. Enjoy a family gathering and make memories that will last a life time. So fun!! We would definitely come back again.

As guests we spent most of our unstructured time here at 251 Shore Rd. We felt welcomed like a cozy friend's home.The historic veteran photo is a real uncle to the owner. The view! is amazing and the sunsets and moon rises were gorgeous from the porch and road over the open horizon. Sunrises were a quick 25 minute walk or an easy bike ride to a southeastern point. The road is slow and safe and people just walk safely. The 11 foot tides are intriguing! There are brochures and info we used to pick from many choices for exploration. We fell in love with this place. Great home for a family to stay. We all miss it already!

We had the pleasure of visiting family who were staying at this charming family cottage, and from the moment I arrived, I felt so welcomed & at home. The cottage is warm, cozy, and beautifully maintained, with all the comforts. It was such a wonderful place to spend time with family, especially preparing and enjoying our meals together. One of my favorite things was spending time on the front porch, enjoying the ocean during quiet mornings, relaxing afternoons, and, best of all, having dinner while watching the most beautiful sunsets. I also loved being able to walk along Shore Road and watch the ocean change its colors and movements throughout the day. There was always something beautiful to see, and it made our time together even more special. I absolutely loved our time here and would be so happy to return! I'm already looking forward to coming back next year for another family get-together. ❤️

I loved staying here so much!! So relaxing. The nights are so quiet and the stars are absolutely amazing!! I loved waking right on the wat And sitting on the cozy porch or the Adirondack chairs to enjoy my morning tea. The surroundings are just beautiful. A lovely early birthday walk started each day. The accomplishments were wonderful. I love the open feeling of the cottage and my bed was so comfortable. I didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back There are so many fun things to do in Ocean Point and Booth Nay

It was such a beautiful place to stay the nights were quiet and the days we filled with walking and kayaking and exploring the region. The cottage itself was part of the wonderful history of Maine. The front porch was our gathering point for coffee and preparing for the next adventure. The sunsets were beautiful over the bay and we were not far from The wharf where we enjoyed Maine lobster we felt that this was one of Maine's real treasures. Thank you take care and have fun.
