Home was in a good location, clean and enough space for our family of 5. The couch and chairs were not super comfortable but we didn’t spend much time there. Plenty of cooking pots and such. Only a very small coffee pot, only downside is no coffee or staple. 15 to Bar Harbor and minutes to hiking trails in Acadia.
We enjoyed the spacious house. It was very relaxing and quite. A nice break from the busy tourist town.
This home is in a great location to explore the National Park and Bar Harbor.
There were definitely a number of issues with the home. The TV never worked at all, many of the lightbulbs were out (and there were no extras), internet was in & out frequently (which poses a large issue with limited cell service), there were toadstools growing in the shower, cleanliness was not phenomenal, and it would be nice if more of the windows had curtains (like in the kitchen). We had to meet with an internet / cable technician to address the issues at the house because we could not reach the owner. The location and the secluded nature of the property was definitely the highlight. The check-in instructions were also easy to follow.
The house had everything we needed for our stay on Mount Desert Island. Very comfortable and plenty of room for our family. We were especially impressed by the kitchen, lots of space and well stocked!
Big house with room, it was clean at check in
