My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights to hike around Acadia National Park and to run the Mount Desert Half Marathon. The location is in a lovely and quiet part of Mount Desert island! Our car rides were all about 20-25 minutes to the trail heads, Southwest Harbor, and Bar Harbor which was very convenient. We rented a car and the street parking is close to the unit, easy to find, and free. We had a late flight into Bangor and arrived to the unit late. Getting in was easy and found the place to be very clean. The queen bed and pillows are comfortable. The bath towels are on the thin side but were clean. The WiFi is very poor from this unit and you cannot rely on it but thankfully we had service. We did not use the laundry but detergent was provided. The town of Northeast Harbor is quaint and quiet which we really liked. We had dinner at the Colonial, right below the unit, and enjoyed it. We also got coffee from McGraths which was delicious. We initially chose this location because it is about a 5 minute walk from the starting line of the Mount Desert Half Marathon. The location was indeed perfect but take note that the race does not provide transportation back to the starting line. The Island Explorer bus only ran through 10/13 and Ubers were not available. Luckily the people of the town and guests are some of the more kind and helpful people I’ve met and a couple kindly drove us back to Northeast Harbor. If you stay here for this event in the future have a plan to get back! If there are back to back bookings, costumer service will not budge on a late check out. It was very easy to reach them however. Overall, I would recommend staying here and would do it again!!
I stayed with my girlfriend in this beautiful location. We loved everything about it! I recommend staying here!
Location- quiet with great access to Acadia
I was staying over for one night in order to help my son move into college at COA. The suite (number 4) was spotless, the sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was perfect. Entry was seamless and easy. The only items I can think to mention are that the towels were a little thin, and the hall light shined brightly through the gaps in the interior door. However, it was a very enjoyable stay and I would definitely recommend it.
Great location, comfortable suite. Poor wifi. Great breakfast at restaurant downstairs.
We loved this little condo and the area was absolutely perfect! The Colonel and Salt Market were amazing in the morning for breakfast!
