A-Frame on the Shore

What a spot! The A-Fram on the Shore is a gem! The home itself is well appointed, clean, and convenient to town. The view is outstanding!! I am already booking my return trip.

We very much enjoyed our 2-night stay at this property, which I would rate as 4.5 stars if I could. The location is perfect (quiet and off the beaten path, yet close to Greenville and local places of interest) and the view can’t be beat. Everything was clean upon our arrival, the queen bed very comfortable, the bathroom large and well-functioning, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the living/dining room spacious with comfy furniture. The property unfortunately loses points for a very steep and narrow stairway, and extremely loud (though fast) heating system. Having said that, I would absolutely rent this home again, because the positives far outweigh the negatives.

Cute cottage! Beds were comfortable..kitchen well equipped...only thing we wished for was a canoe to go out on the lake in the early morning or for a sunset paddle!

This was our 3rd year at the A Frame. We love it here. My family rents next to us so it's great for the grandkids! The only downside this year was the caterpillars! Never had them before, but made it hard to sit outside on the deck as they were everywhere. The stairs are steep going upstairs. We have managed, but my granddaughter ended up slipping down the stairs. I never want to leave here, but unfortunately vacations do come to an end.

Stairs were unusable by 1 guest, sulfur/sewer smell every time water was run and outside the front door where it was swampy and 1 guest fell because of it. Listed as has AC ( thermostat controlled) when there is actually just 1 window unit upstairs. The view and lake was very nice and overall the pros outweighed the cons, if only just.

All I can say was the location and A frame was amazing
