The Dome house is the perfect vacation home to get away from reality. The views and nature that surround it are amazing. Boothbay harbor was only 5 minutes away with shops and amazing food!
This is a light-filled good-energy space, half dome house and half high-ceiling multi-windowed house. Both sections look out on the little tidal inlet on the river. The space has various places to hang out in a cohesive contemporary space. It's also clean, not moldy, and filled with light and the owner's original art. Deck with grill and outdoor furniture. Walk down to the bridge to the old lobster pound and th elobster fishing shack with its wood trunk carvings. It's a short drive to Porter Preserve, the Boothbay Botanical Gardens, and the little Boothbay downtown, and a slightly longer drive to Damariscotta.
This end of the road gem inspires one to connect with nature and art. We were thrilled to see bald eagles, seagulls, and a heron. The house was comfortably quirky, and we appreciated the instructions on how to operate the utilities. The artwork was stunning and lent to a unique experience. We truly enjoyed our visit and highly recommend this property.
Such and excellent house in such a cool Place. End of a winding road in the woods, next to a tidal inlet, surrounded by trees. The air smelled so good. The wind sounded so relaxing. A wonderful place
Interesting and lovely spot.
The Dome House was perfect for my parents visiting town, and my wife and I. The lake view was magical, and we really enjoyed our time there. Already recommending it to friends and coworkers. Thanks for everything!
