As always a great week in Maine. The weather was good and we really liked the porch to sit on to read and relax. The new fan over the table is great. Looking forward to coming back next year.

I liked the simplicity of this camp and the charm of its quirkiness. Most of all having a place to share with family from afar. Even though we didn't have an outside fire, the chairs were a welcome site as we arrived and were used just to enjoy a warm afternoon.

Home is clean and well maintained, with some now upgrades.

My family of four had a wonderful time. Relaxing was the primary goal and we did just that. The place is a bit rustic but not overly. 2 bedrooms served us well with one having bunk beds. Common living room was great and we liked how the kitchen/pantry/bathroom area was on the upper floor. It provided space if you needed it. The screened porch was beautiful. My wife enjoyed sitting and doing hobby projects while staring at the lake. Camp fires were a must and an excellent location with fire pit made it happen. Fishing off a very nice dock every night capped it off. The pond itself is clean and the water relatively warm. Our only caution is the motorboat and jet ski traffic activity blowing through in between the dock and the island facing the camp. Unfortunately many inconsiderate people going full throttle. One time while we were swimming and it didn’t seem like the jet skier noticed us or didn’t care. We have teens but those with young children just beware. That area appears to be free reign. The island is cool but heavily used by anyone on the lake. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and the camp. What you see in the pics is exactly what you get and that’s a great thing!

Full disclosure we are from Maine. My family has camps on pemaquid pond/lake. We stayed here for a family wedding on Pemaquid this past weekend. I say this because of other reviews...this is a wonderful Maine lake cottage. It has a quirky layout like all Maine camps. We had a full weekend and two days of rain. If I had to be in a camp this was a great place to be. It was cozy, warm, and a to die for screened in porch overlooking the Lake. The bed in the main room was soooo comfortable. My son liked sleeping on the futon in the living room. My husband who snores got the bunk and slept great. It was extremely quiet. No loons accept for far off. I love the loons and their calls. That's what you hear on lakes. That being said...the loons and their calls change throughout the summer. At the beginning it's mating time. They are loud. It peters out by the end of summer if for some weird reason that is a concern. Beautiful new dock. Caught a 10 inch bass of the dock. It felt like a family camp. We will be back. If you ever want to sell or anyone around you let us know!! The only thing that would have made it perfect other than sun would have been if our pet could come. We would pay extra for that.
