It’s a cabin, it provided all for all of our essential needs. We had difficulty finding the property in the dark, perhaps a house number that is more reflective would help. The lock timed out every time we attempted to enter the code, causing us to call the helpline. We will recommend this place to anyone wanting a basic no frills comfortable place in a beautiful location.
We loved this cabin - we felt safe and secure. The water pressure leaves a bit to be desired, but it was so quiet and very friendly for 4 adults traveling together. Kitchen was stocked with appliances/plates/silverware so it was so nice when we forgot stuff from home. It was easy to check in and out, and the proximity to the lake was AMAZING! We loved going out in the kayaks, spending time by the fire, and listening to the loons. We also loved looking through the guest book that dates back DECADES, we loved the little "easter eggs" about frogs and broken wheelbarrows on the property too that referenced the guest book. All around amazing stay, definitely a memorable one and if we're ever in Maine again we will consider staying here!
This little house tucked away in the back roads of Maine is pure magic. My pups absolutely adored on demand swimming and watching the frogs. My husband loved the grill and I loved being in nature and disconnecting. It was an easy drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor.
If you are looking for a nice waterfront retreat on the lake, this is your spot. It's a cozy camp that offers the basics. It is not a luxurious camp. Be prepared to pack in everything you need, including coffee, cooking spray, spices, and internet access. Overall, a pretty nice place.
This little cabin was so cozy and inviting!! We really loved our stay here and were sad to leave. We can’t wait to come back! Thankyou for having us!
