Your redwood retreat sits at the end of a peaceful dead-end street in Forestville, where wine country meets river recreation. Walk just half a mile to Sunset Beach (0.5 mi) for swimming and picnicking, or head to nearby Forestville River Access (0.3 mi) for a quieter spot along the Russian River. A car is essential for exploring Forestville and the Russian River Valley — your driveway accommodates two vehicles with an EV charger available in the garage upon request. A car makes the Russian River Valley easy to explore, from redwood trails to riverside wineries. Cell service gets patchy in the redwoods, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is worth it.
Note that cell phone service can be limited in this forested area, but the high-speed WiFi (320 Mbps) supports WiFi calling and all your streaming needs. The home stays naturally cool thanks to the redwood canopy, and air conditioning keeps you comfortable on the warmest summer days. Take advantage of the detached office space if you need to catch up on work — the desk and sofa create a productive retreat. The bonus yoga room offers another peaceful space with mats provided and views opening to a semi-private deck. The primary renter must be 21 or older. Remember that streaming services on the projector TV require your own account logins. Pro tip: The property's location at the end of a dead-end street means exceptional privacy and quiet, perfect for truly unwinding in your forest sanctuary.

We had an amazing stay and absolutely loved the property. The home is beautiful, and every detail feels thoughtfully designed. We especially enjoyed using the deck and barbecue. The property manager and homeowner were also very responsive and helpful when we ran into issues—they went out of their way to assist us, which we really appreciated. Highly recommend!
Very beautiful house, the decoration is top notch. We went in a group of 5 friends and we had an amazing time, the deck is my favorite area, there is a BBQ grill and we spend time outside playing guitar and singing by the fireplace (the moon was incredible!). The house is very big and fitted us well, comfy beds, great stocked kitchen, and great living room with record player with plenty of records to choose from. Looking forward to stay there again!
The views, the vibes, the layout. It was all so divine! Perfect for a little getaway!
Great homebase to explore Guerneville and surroundings. The rental had every amenity and was spacious while cozy, superb for a weekend away. Cool furnishings while not being too stuffy or formal to boot! Only thing to tweak would be a better/new coffee maker as alllll the other kitchen stuff was fab. We'd love to stay there again next time we're in the area.
It was such a nice stay. Gorgeously decorated and with lots of love. We were in a group of six and it fit us all well. Our only discomfort was that two of the three bedrooms did not have curtains. Both parties in the rooms had a tough time sleeping in because they are very sensitive to light. We also were excited to try the record player, but the needle seemed to be broken. The check-out was at 10am which felt very early to rush to clean up. Other than that, it was so nice and I would definitely stay again if it was available.
This is my third time staying at the Redwood Retreat and my wife’s second time. Every visit has been an improvement on the last. The owners are diligent in improving the experience every time. The new fire pit, side sitting area, and improved path to the river are all great additions to an already amazing property! Feel free to explore their amazing and eclectic record collection, read some of the great books they have on their spacious deck, and use their tubes for en epic float down the river! The cabin is a quick drive away from great wineries. Brew pubs, and entertainment, and only a 20 min walk from the Russian River pub which came in handy this trip. We will be back again and again! Thank you!
