This 1,942-square-foot riverfront cabin blends heritage antiques with luxury furnishings across generous, light-filled spaces. You enter the vast great room beneath soaring ceilings and antler chandeliers to find a stone fireplace anchoring sumptuous leather Chesterfield armchairs and a leather sofa. An 11-foot picture window frames spectacular river views, while a second seating area offers upholstered chairs in soft blue-green tones atop oriental rugs. Above, a cozy loft holds a small office nook with WiFi, printer, scanner, and copier. The completely updated kitchen features dark cherry wood cabinets, stainless steel appliances with gas range and dishwasher, plus a KitchenAid mixer, commercial waffle iron, and holiday-dinner-ready cookware. The formal dining room dazzles with ornate wallpaper, a crystal chandelier, and a polished wood table with upholstered chairs. A vine-draped pergola shelters a picnic table for al fresco meals. The large meadow backyard leads directly to eight acres of private beach shared with just a few neighbors, featuring the best fishing hole in town. Soak in the private hot tub, fire up the BBQ, or claim a sunny spot in the spacious side yard. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS Three bedrooms and a loft sleep up to ten guests. Your riverfront perch puts you at the heart of Guerneville's best experiences. Stroll 0.2 miles to The Lodge at Dawn Ranch for farm-to-table dining or grab morning coffee there before your day begins. Downtown Guerneville's eclectic dining scene starts just 0.3 miles away — try Saucy Mama's soul food, the famous Guerneville Taco Truck at Safeway, or ZENSHI for handcrafted sushi. Stock up on provisions at Safeway (0.3 mi) or drive to Bartlett's Market (2.3 mi) for local specialties. Wine tasting awaits at Korbel Winery (2.2 mi) or venture to Gary Farrell Vineyards (5.8 mi) for panoramic valley views with your Pinot. Hike among ancient redwoods at Armstrong Woods (2.4 mi) or let your dogs run free at Bruno Farnocchia Dog Park (2.0 mi). Summer days call for floating from Johnson's Beach or launching kayaks at Guerneville River Park (0.6 mi). For a scenic drive, follow Highway 116 west through Monte Rio to where the Russian River meets the Pacific at Goat Rock Beach (7.5 mi).
Guerneville is about 90 minutes from San Francisco via 101 and River Road — a scenic drive through vineyards and into the redwoods. You'll have parking for up to three vehicles: two in the driveway plus street parking in front of the home. A car makes the Russian River Valley easy to explore, from redwood trails to riverside wineries. Cell service gets patchy in the redwoods, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is worth it.
This home stays naturally cool thanks to river breezes and redwood shade — like most historic Russian River cabins, it doesn't have air conditioning. Exterior security cameras cover the property perimeter. Please note the decorative fireplace is not operational. Your dogs will love the enclosed yard and meadow — just remember to keep them on the furniture-free floor and always clean up after them. The eight-acre private beach is a rare amenity shared with just a few neighbors. It offers some of the best fishing in Guerneville if you're an angler. Quiet hours from 10 PM to 7 AM help preserve the peaceful river atmosphere. The home's eclectic mix of antiques and wildlife art reflects its 1930s heritage — each room tells a story of Russian River history.

The window in the picture is the selling feature of this house! It is huge, and we spent many hours sitting in front of it, enjoying the scenery. We came during the rainy season and were treated to 3 days of rain, so the river changed before our eyes. It was so interesting to watch. The weather was a great excuse to chill out in the house, watch the river, watch movies, and enjoy some family time with our college aged kids. The beds were comfortable and I loved that they were all big. That's hard to find. I was disappointed that there were no closets and no coat rack for our raincoats, but that's a minor complaint. The kitchen was great, but bring your own saran/foil wrap. When there was a problem, the people on the other end of the text were really responsive and knowledgeable about the house. We had an amazing stay. I would definitely come back here again!
Well appointed and supplied house. Lovely setting with incredible outdoor spaces and riverfront access. A real taste of the old Russian River. Would love to come back.
The house as the old time feel of a rustic cabin! The furniture and decor added to the charm. Our family enjoyed being inside and of course were thrilled at the experience of beach access and the river.
This house is gorgeous and well appointed, with a fun, kooky, kind of spooky vibe. Was great for a girls weekend! Direct river access is clutch, and worth the cost almost on its own, but we also loved having a hot tub and just a generally great space to hang.
Our stay was great. The house had a rustic, elegant feel to it and it is located right next to the river. We spent our mornings sipping coffee by the water. It was great!
We loved how close the house is to the river. Just a short walk to an uncrowded beach. No dock so definite workout hauling the paddle boards back and forth. Great to have the hot tub right after swimming in the river. House is nicely decorated with interesting paintings etc. There is a spacious back yard but it doesn't have a view of the river. The water is a short walk away from house but there isn't much of a view from the house or deck.
