Overview
Wake to harbor seals splashing in Bodega Harbor from this three-level retreat perched above the water. Curl up by either fireplace with fresh crab from Spud Point (0.4 mi) while whales migrate past your windows. Room for 8 with privacy across three floors. Just steps from South Salmon Creek Beach (0.4 mi) and the famous Birds filming locations. The wraparound deck becomes your front-row seat to Sonoma Coast sunsets — where the only soundtrack is harbor bells and sea birds.
Spend mornings watching fishing boats motor out as the harbor wakes, afternoons walking Doran Beach or hunting tide pools at Pinnacle Gulch, and evenings on the deck with fresh crab and a glass of cool-climate Pinot. A white sectional faces the wood-burning stove on its raised stone hearth, picture windows pulling the harbor into every seat. Granite counters and stainless appliances line the back wall as a galley, with a six-seat dining table by the windows so meals stay anchored to the water view. The lower level is its own self-contained suite — bedroom, full bath, den with a second gas fireplace, and a games-and-work table — built for older kids or a remote-working partner who wants their own corner. OUTDOOR LIVING The wraparound deck becomes your outdoor room, composite decking and white railings framing the harbor panorama. Woven furniture includes a dining table for al fresco meals and lounge chairs for afternoon reading. A gas grill stands ready for fresh catch. Views stretch across the water to distant hills. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The entire third floor serves as a loft primary bedroom with a king bed and sitting area overlooking the water. On the main floor, one bedroom has a queen and another has two twins. The lower-level suite adds a queen with its own full bath. Sleeps 8. PROPERTY AMENITIES -- Full kitchen with stainless steel appliances -- Washer and dryer -- Two 55-inch TVs with Roku streaming -- Gas grill -- Wraparound deck with outdoor dining -- Parking for 4
Settle in beneath the soaring A-frame ceilings as the harbor opens out through the window wall — bay views from the kitchen, the dining table, and the deck. The whole home is yours, with a wood-burning fireplace, a gas fireplace, and outdoor dining set up under the vaulted beams. Your check-in details land before you arrive, and the driveway out front holds up to four cars.
Your harbor perch puts you at the heart of Bodega Bay's working waterfront. Walk to legendary Spud Point Crab Company (0.4 mi) for their famous crab sandwiches and award-winning clam chowder — expect lines on weekends but it's worth the wait. South Salmon Creek Beach stretches just 0.4 miles away for beachcombing and sunset walks. Fisherman's Cove (0.4 mi) serves up grilled oysters and harbor views, while The Boat House (0.7 mi) offers dog-friendly outdoor seating for fish and chips. For morning coffee, The Birds Cafe (0.7 mi) gets you caffeinated before whale watching from Bodega Head. Stock up on essentials at Pelican Plaza Grocery & Deli (0.7 mi) or Diekmann's Bay Store (0.7 mi). Terrapin Creek (0.8 mi) brings fine dining to this fishing village when you want to celebrate. Bodega Dunes Beach (0.6 mi) offers calmer waters than the open coast, while Westside Regional Park (1.0 mi) provides hiking trails and picnic spots.
Bodega Bay is about 90 minutes from San Francisco — a beautiful drive up 101 and out Highway 1 through farmland and coastal ranches. Your driveway fits four vehicles comfortably. A car makes exploring the Sonoma Coast effortless — it unfolds for miles in either direction. Cell service is light along the coast, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is a good idea.
The home features security cameras at the front driveway for everyone's safety and comfort. Four staircases connect the three levels — something to consider with young children. While there's no air conditioning, the coastal breezes and morning fog keep the home naturally cool year-round. You'll have two fireplaces to choose from on chilly evenings — the wood-burning stove in the living room or the gas fireplace in the lower level den. For streaming services, you'll need to log in with your own accounts on the Roku TVs. The dramatic A-frame architecture means sloped ceilings in the loft bedroom — cozy but worth noting for taller guests. The wraparound deck offers the best sunset views in Bodega Bay — don't miss the golden hour when the harbor lights up. Bring layers even in summer; coastal fog rolls in most mornings and evenings can be chilly.

Beautiful views and awesome setting. Relaxing to sit on the deck and stare out at the bay. Good walking trails behind the property too. Well equipped kitchen.
The view is amazing, inside from above to the kitchen and from above to the lake and the dunes. It’s very cozy and warm equipped.
Excellent location to get away from it all, while not being fully isolated - but the vibe is kind of like that… very hidden and quiet. Property was well kept, WiFi worked nice, and the space is very conducive for up to 6-8 people. Oh, the Spud Point Crab Co outdoor eatery in town was highly recommended but do not expect the world. Very decent. Back to the property… The property itself was well worth it and you will not be disappointed!!
We loved the view from the home. The beach is a stunning 10 minute walk behind the home. We enjoyed Thanksgiving here and had enough pans, baking dishes etc to make it happen. The inside of the home is very comfortable. I would highly recommend this home.
Great house! Very comfortable!
We had a great, multigenerational stay.
