The Cazadero General Store (1.8 miles) covers the basics, Raymond's Bakery is a local favorite, and Guerneville — with Johnson's Beach, restaurants, and tasting rooms — is about 20 minutes away. Armstrong Redwoods and the Sonoma Coast at Jenner both make classic day trips.

Cazadero is about an hour and 45 minutes from San Francisco via 101 and River Road — a scenic drive into a quiet redwood canyon. A car makes the Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast easy to explore, from redwood groves to coastal bluffs. Cell service gets patchy in the redwoods, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is worth it.
