Overview
Wake to panoramic views of the Pacific and Tomales Point from your private balcony. This recently updated 3-bedroom home overlooks the 7th green at The Links, with sweeping ocean vistas from every level. Soak in the jetted tub after exploring tide pools at nearby Pinnacle Gulch Trail (0.2 mi). Watch gray whales from Bodega Head (2.2 mi) or grab legendary crab sandwiches at Fishetarian Fish Market (1.7 mi). Your coastal escape awaits where the golf course meets the sea.
At Latitude 38, mornings begin on the deck as the dew burns off the fairways, afternoons walking the bluff trails or playing the Robert Trent Jones Jr. Course, and evenings watching the sun melt into the Pacific from the hot tub. The two-tiered great room rises beneath a cathedral ceiling with exposed beams; a sectional faces the gas fireplace beside built-in shelving. The kitchen anchors with a center island built around a gas cooktop and decorative range hood — a side door opens straight to the patio for grilling. The whole footprint pivots toward ocean views from nearly every room and the Tomales Point view from the master. OUTDOOR LIVING Two balconies and a multi-level patio offer endless coastal breeze. Settle into the outdoor sectional, warm up by the fire table, or claim a blue Adirondack chair. The gas grill on the lower level handles fresh seafood, and the master's private balcony delivers ocean views from morning coffee to evening nightcap. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The master suite features a king bed, wall-mounted TV, and sliding glass door to a private ocean-view balcony. Two additional bedrooms each offer a queen bed in peaceful, carpeted settings. Sleeps 6. PROPERTY AMENITIES -- Gas fireplace -- Full kitchen with gas cooktop -- Garage with beach gear storage -- Driveway parking for 4 vehicles -- Fire pit area -- Gas grill
Light the fire table on the deck as the ocean and the golf course light up at once — that's most evenings here, under cathedral wood ceilings and exposed beams. The whole home is yours, with a gas fireplace, a jetted tub for the soak after, and outdoor entertaining at every level. Grab the key from the lockbox out front; the driveway holds four.
Your Bodega Bay location puts you at the heart of Sonoma Coast adventures. Start mornings with coffee and pastries from Captain Davey's Coffee and Ice Cream (1.5 mi), then explore the dramatic coastline at Pinnacle Gulch Trail just 0.2 miles away. For legendary seafood, Fishetarian Fish Market (1.7 mi) serves fresh catches and their famous fish tacos. The Links at Bodega Harbour golf course borders the property - you're overlooking the 7th green. Hike the whale-watching trails at Bodega Head (2.2 mi) or enjoy family-friendly Doran Beach (1.2 mi). Wine lovers can taste cool-climate Pinots at Sonoma Coast Vineyards (1.6 mi). For groceries, Diekmann's Bay Store (2.3 mi) stocks essentials, while Pelican Plaza Grocery & Deli (2.4 mi) offers a fuller selection. Evening dining options include harbor-view Drakes Fireside Lounge (1.0 mi) or acclaimed Terrapin Creek (2.6 mi) for special occasions.
Bodega Bay is about 90 minutes from San Francisco — a beautiful drive up 101 and out Highway 1 through farmland and coastal ranches. Your driveway accommodates four vehicles comfortably. A car makes exploring the Sonoma Coast effortless — it unfolds for miles in either direction. Cell service is light along the coast, so downloading offline maps before you arrive is a good idea.
The home stays naturally cool thanks to ocean breezes and coastal fog - no AC needed even in summer (highs rarely exceed 70°F). Bring layers as evenings are always cool. The jetted tub is perfect for warming up after sunset beach walks. Your garage has space for storing beach gear, and we spotted beach chairs during our visit. Highway 1 provides breathtaking drives but can close during winter storms - check Caltrans before traveling. The primary renter must be 21 or older. From January through May, volunteers staff Bodega Head on weekends to help spot migrating gray whales - don't miss this incredible experience. Internet is provided via WiFi throughout the home. Security cameras monitor the front door and garage area.

Beautiful home with spectacular views. Very quiet Neighbourhood.
The hosue is perfectly set up and flows very well from room to room.
Most memorable Christmas for our family in years. Days of tremendous wind, rain, sun and a few times without power, yet nobody cared when you have a comfortable feeling of home place to stay and relax.
Great home well appointed with nice views. This is our second time renting this home.
Great house. Clean and well furnished. Prime location. Only issue we had was the master tub faucet was leaking when we arrived, and had to be turned off, so the tub wasn't usable. This wasn't a big deal for us and I assume it will be repaired.
